Offered for sale is this rare lot of 2 French Ephemera items consisting of an original Advertising Print Card that has an impressive period Art Deco lady on it along with an original Billhead from Welly Soeurs of Paris in good to very good overall condition. Welly Soeurs sisters were some of the top clothing and costume designers in Paris during the Art Deco period and their clothing was sought after by many prominent people of the time. There are many reprints of Welly Soeurs advertising in the marketplace and it is rare to find an original piece like this one! The colored print measures about 6" by 4 1/4" and the hand manuscripted bill head measures about 8 1/4" by 7 1/4" and has a great look to it also. I purchased these items at an estate sale in the Southern Tier Region of New York State and I have listed other ephemera items also from this 1927 trip on Ebay. Two corners of the print have bent corners as the photos show, but otherwise the colors are still excellent, bright and clean. The billhead has some foxing and yellowing as to be expected. The revenue Stamp is on it as also can be seen in the photos. This billhead would look great if framed. These would make a fine addition to any public or private collection or museum, or perhaps a wonderful gift to that someone special in your life.
