1976 Chevy Silverado Long-Bed
350, Auto trans, Air Conditioning
Unmolested, almost all stock. Pretty truck.
I've owned this truck for about 5 years. Time to let it go, too many other vehicles.
This
Chevy
needs some TLC to get to the next level. Since it’s “All There” and unmolested, I think it’s great for a person who loves these trucks. Runs and drives very nice. Not a show truck, but a good looker.
- Odometer shows 99,200 miles.
(Mileage will change, as it is driven)
- Solid
body and frame (some rust starting: pinhole behind front wheel well / bed seam), floor pans are perfect.
---About 2500 miles ago:
- New Chevrolet GM Goodwrench 350 / 4-Bolt crate engine from GM parts. (260HP) (Summit Racing)
- The transmission was rebuilt when the new engine went in. (It does have a leak at the speedometer cable entry.)
- Brand new tires
- New Edelbrock 4BBL
- New 4-Core Aluminum Radiator (Runs cool at 160 degrees)
- New Dual exhaust (Stock Mufflers)
- New / Rebuilt front-end: Control Arms, Ball joints, tie-rods, bushings, alignment, etc.
- All new Shocks (Spring Assist Load-Levelers in the rear)
- New Distributor Cap, Wires, Plugs
- New Battery, Cables, Starter
- Power Disk brakes are good, power steering also good.
- A/C and Heat both work. (
It needs a blower switch and possibly a blower. But, the A/C is cold. Just does not blow hard.)
- Lights and all electric work. (LED Head and Tail lights)
- Has dual fuel tanks.
(But
only use the passenger-side (factory) tank at this time. I think it needs a new transfer
valve. Left tank not used.)
- All glass is good. Rubber is fair.

Interior is in super nice condition.
- No Dash Cracks
- It needs some gauge work, as the oil pressure, Temp gauge & Clock do not work.
(Speedo, Odo, Fuel, Volts work. Aftermarket Temp gauge)
- Current NC State Inspection / Current Registration
- Clear / Clean North Carolina Title
