You are viewing a 1987 Chevrolet Short Bed, Two wheel drive, C-10 (R-10) pickup. This beautiful C10 had a complete restoration of a completely rust free Southern truck less than 5 years ago and has been driven frequently, so all of the bugs have been worked out of this truck. At the time of restoration a brand new 383 small block stroker and Turbo 400 Transmission was installed. The engine sounds great with long tube headers and dual Flowmaster exhaust, the truck starts immediately and settles into a smooth idle. The turbo 400 has a shift kit and shifts great. Goes down the road effortlessly at 70mph @ 2200 rpm. The truck has been lowered, but still rides smooth and straight. Original A/C truck and it blows cold!
The rust free original body is amazing, super straight and mirror like finish. The deep black base/clear paint looks as though you could step into it. No chips, dents, dings at all, if you think you see chips in the paint, I can assure you its a reflection. All new chrome, Wheels & tires, weather stripping throughout, tucked front bumper, new lights and grill, rear roll pan. Roll pan is not molded in so if you prefer chrome bumpers, its an easy swap. Truck also comes with a chrome tube grill (see last pic). The interior has also been restored to include: Inside painted, visors, door panels ( some wear on pass. side panel, see pic), seat upholstery, floor covering, dash and gauge bezel. Everything works properly.
The underside of this truck is very clean. Disc brakes, new ball joints. Truck steers and stops straight. Power steering and brakes. 15" wheels and radial tires. I prefer the look of a smaller wheel with taller tires as opposed to low profile tires (with the lowered stance it rides much better). Truck has a drop in bedliner, as you can see from the bottom, NO RUST!
