    Offered here are 20 German cigarette cards of U.S. and international warships of the 1930s, issued in 1934 by the Garbaty Cigarette Co. for the album

    No. 44:
    The English Battle Cruiser “Hood”. It was 246 meters long, 32 meters wide, displaced 43,000 tons and had a top speed of 31 knots. It was armed with eight 38-cm cannons, twelve 14-cm cannons, four 10.2-cm cannons and four 4.7-cm guns.
    No. 45:
    The English Cruiser “Effingham”. It was 172.2 meters long, 19.8 meters wide, displaced 10,000 tons and had a top speed of 30.5 knots. It was armed with seven 19-cm cannons, three 10.2-cm cannons and four 4.7-cm guns.
    No. 48:
    The Indian Mine-Layer “Lawrence” was 68.6 meters long, 10.4 meters wide, displaced 1,400 tons and had a top speed of 15 knots. It was armed with two 10.2-cvm cvannons, two 7.6-cm cannons and four 4.7-cm guns.
    No. 52:
    Italian Cruiser “Taranto”. It is 140 meters long and 13 meters wide, has a displacement of 3,200 tons and a top speed of 27.5 knots. It is armed with seven 15-cm cannons and two 7.6-cm guns.

    Italian Battleship “Caio Duillo”. It is 176 meters long and 28 meters wide, has a displacement of 21,500 tons and a top speed of 21 knots. It is armed with thirteen 30.5-cm cannons, sixteen 15.2-cm cannons, thirteen 7.6-cm cannons and six 7-cm guns.
    No. 54:
    Italian Cruiser “Trieste”. It is 190 meters long and 20.6 meters wide, has a displacement of 10,000 tons and a top speed of 36.5 knots. It is armed with eight 20.3-cm cannons, sixteen 10.2-cm cannons and eight 4-cm guns.
    No. 58:
    Italian Torpedo Boat / Destroyer “Cesare-Rossarol”. It is 98 meters long and 9.4 meters wide, has a displacement of 800 tons and a top speed of 36 knots. It is armed with three 12-cm cannons, two 7.6-cm guns and four 50-cm torpedo tubes on deck.

    The Dutch Destroyer “DeRuyter” with a displacement of 1,650 tons and a top speed of 35 knots. It was armed with four 12-cm cannons, two 7.5-cm cannons and six 53-cm torpedo tubes on deck.

    The Norwegian Fisheries Guard Ship “Frithjof Nansen”. It is 72.9 meters long, 10.5 meters wide, has a displacement of 1,300 tons and a top speed of 15 knots. It is armed with two 10.2-cm cannons and two 4.7-cm guns.

    The Norwegian Armored Coast Guard Ship “Harald-Haarfagre”. It is 93 meters long, 15 meters wide, has a displacement of 3,900 tons and a top speed of 17 knots. It is armed with two 21-cm cannons, six 12-cm cannons and six 7.6-cm guns.

    The Polish Torpedo Boat “Mazur” with a displacement of 350 tons and a top speed of 27 knots. It was armed with two 7.5-cm cannons and two 45-cm torpedo tubes on deck.

    The Chilean Cruiser “Blanco-Encalada”. It was 113 meters long and 14 meters wide with a displacement of 4,500 tons and a top speed of 22 knots. It was armed with two 20.2-cm cannons, ten 15-cm cannons and five 7.6-cm guns.

    The Battleship “California” with a displacement of 33,000 tons and a top speed of 21 knots. It was armed with twelve 35.6-cm cannons, twelve 12.7-cm cannons and four 5.7-cm guns.

    The Battleship “Nevada” with a displacement of 28,000 tons and a top speed of 20.5 knots. It was armed with ten 35.6-cm cannons, twelve 12.7-cm cannons and four 4.7-cm guns.

    The Cruiser “Minneapolis” with a displacement of 10,000 tons and a top speed of 32.5 knots. It was armed with nine 20.3-cm cannons and eight 12.7-cm guns.

    The Destroyer “Mayrant” with a displacement of 750 tons and a top speed of 31 knots. It was armed with four 7.6-cm cannons and six 45-cm torpedo tubes on deck.
    No. 130:
    The Chinese Cruiser “Ping Hai”. Length: 100.5 meters; width: 11.9 meters. It displaced 2,500 tons and had a top speed of 22 knots. It was armed with six 14-cm cannons and six 8-cm guns.

    The Cruiser “Jahagi” with a displacement of 5,000 tons and a top speed of 26 knots. It was armed with eight 15-cm cannons and two 8-cm guns.
    No. 135:
    The Japanese Battleship “Hiuga”. Length: 195.5 meters, width: 28.7 meters. It displaced 31,500 tons and had a top speed of 23 knots. It was armed with twelve 35.6-cm cannons, twenty 14-cm cannons and four 8-cm guns.
    No. 144:
    The Siamese Destroyer “Phra Ruang”. It is 80.5 meters long and 8.4 meters wide with a displacement of 1,000 tons and a top speed of 35 knots. It is armed with three 10.2-cm cannons, one 7.6-cm gun and four 53.3-cm torpedo tubes on deck.
