    Up for sale is one 2007 DW Collectors Series - Brass/Maple Shell Edge Series Snare Drum.  10 lug 5" x 14" shell size.  This baby comes in at 17 lb's!  That's why this snare has to come with this super heavy duty high end SKB hard shell case (retails for 1.00).
    Serial number M344576, Build #733958, dated Nov. 19 2007.  Some of those inside numbers are hard to read so I wrote DW with the serial number and they confirmed back the specific numbers.
    They also told me the wood was North American Hard Rock Maple and it has the Lacquer Custom "Natural" finish (LC).
    Ron Dunnett Throw-off, and it's the style that pivoted side to side to fit your playing preference.
    20 strand True tone DW Snare Wires, in perfect condition.  Comes with original DW drum key too.
    Bottom head is a new Remo Diplomat snare side and the top head is a lightly used Evans EC Reverse Dot Level 360 head.
    I detailed and cleaned everything so you won't have too.  It's quite Minty! 100% original except the heads.
    I found a 2012 DW price list on-line and this model retailed for ,595.00, wow! (but this snare is 5 years older).
    Bottom line is DW clearly builds high end quality drums! and made in the U.S.A.!!
