    A Runge Mexo Cigar Advertising Postcard Antique Philadelphia PA 1907 Humor
    This is a humorous illustration antique postcard that advertises cigars. The back reads, " Smoke The Mexo One of the few real good Five Cent Cigars A. Runge & Co. Makers Cors.- Market St. & Delaware Ave. ....Chestnut ST. & Delaware Ave. Phila. PA". The back also reads, " Writing on this part of the address side permitted after March 1., 1907", and " Adolph Selige Pub. St. Louis, MO." The stamp area shows stamp to cost 1 cent. The front of the card has a humorous illustration of a well dressed gent sleeping it off in a doorway and the caption reads, " Now I lay me down to sleep!". The card measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" and is in good order without written message, no stamp and no postmark. There are no creases.
