Ramy and A&F are back with a handcrafted prototype snare created from a solid, steam-bent plank of premium oak. The A&F Rude Boy Oak Snare packs a wallop, with a full-bodied woody tone and explosive crack that belies its 3" x 12" piccolo size. This Rude Boy's solid oak shell isn't built from plywood; it's steam treated and formed around a cylinder to maximize sensitivity and resonance. And take it from Sweetwater: whether you've got this snare on backbeat duty or off to the side of your kit, it certainly knows how to make an entrance. The Rude Boy Oak Snare comes equipped with a pair of aged single-flanged brass hoops, Remo heads, and A&F's Patented Patina hardware, which includes deluxe center-mounted/dual-sided lugs and aged tension screws and clips.
