Antique jeweled box, probably part of a large elaborate dresser or desk set, gold-tone metal with filigree butterfly accent and faceted glass jewels in pink, purple and green, the base of the box is lined in wood, so perhaps a cigarette box, but it could be used for anything, measuring 1-1/2" high x 4" x 3" overall, marked EMPIRE ART GOLD, E. & J.B. in a circular cartouche on the base, see close up photo, good condition, just the gold finish has mellowed from age and handling, previously owned, from a local estate.

Our physical brick & mortar gallery located in Royal Oak, Michigan, for over 30 years, is closed on Sundays & Mondays. Any payments received for orders on those days will be processed on the following Tuesday afternoon. Our regular brick and mortar store hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 12 noon to 6pm.  We pack and ship paid eBay items on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday afternoons.
