    Description

    This is a lion Head table from Circa 1850 from Dr. J.T. Fergason near Chattanooga, TN. It is a gothic Library Table and hand carved, tooled, Stamped with Lion Heads with carved teeth on all 4 corners. It has some history and was used in the Civil war and two general (one from each side) sat at this table. This a description of the table from where I purchased it from an Antique store in the late 1990. The table length is 30 inches and width is 43.5 and height is 30 inches. This is a perfect table for an antique table collector and a historian! One of a kind of table!!Purchaser must pick up or get Plycon shipper or another shipper to pick up the item for you. Plycon is a very good shipper(another buyer used them) for furniture and took excellent care of item!
