    Description

    This rare drum comes with some
    significant history/provenance
    . It was purchased in 2011 after the Tsunami in Japan. Canopus donated some of the proceeds from sales of this drum to Tsunami relief. This drum includes the the original head(although it is used... I am not a collector who does not use gear) along with the new one that is presently on it.
    This original head says Aid( Japan(see photo) and the sale also includes a note from Canopus about this offering.
    It ts a really crisp and highly sensitive drum. It is truly beautiful with it's brass lugs against the natural oak shell.
    Pretty sure this would be a lovely addition to anybody's arsenal and I have recorded with a few times with pleasing results.
