Description
Snare is in played condition. I'd call it 'very good', however I'm not as comfortable with drum conditions as bass conditions. So look at the pictures. Selling because I haven't been playing drums much and want to put more money in my trading account. They are sort of unknown snares, but they are considered to be some of the best if you research them. They have very subtle innovations including the brass lugs for tone and leather washers to lock the tuning in. The is the best maple snare I've ever owned and I used to have a blue and olive badge, maple Ludwig. It's my second favorite snare overall (I'm a steel, Take Five fan). Best of all you don't have to wait for it to ship from Japan. I'll happily buy it again some day after my stock is all grown up.
Here's the official blurb and a video of another:
The 8-ply shell configuration is optimized for maximum projection. 8 premium, brass-plated single point lugs give it just the right balance of openness and tunability. It's responsive and thick at lower tunings, and it screams when it's cranked up. Canopus diecast hoops tame the overtones just enough.
