This is the Veracruz February 5, 1915 series A one peso banknote issued per the 19 September 1914 decree. The front of the banknote depicts seated Liberty to the left holding a shield with the words Consttucion Mexico and the date 1914 in one hand and a branch with leaves in the other. There is also an image of a spread eagle with a snake in its beak and volcanoes in the background within an oval in the center all in black and white over a ochre colored background. The back has a brown design on an off-white background. The bank note has the denomination showing a curved base number "1" in the four corners of the front and back.
