    Italian drum building and design at it’s very best. Drum Art Supreme Solid snare drums are comprised of completely hollowed out and finely sculpted logs. As “solid” as it gets. The company is renowned in Europe and highly regarded domestically, by drum connoisseurs and sound engineers. This African Rosewood snare is the pinnacle of their extraordinary work.     I purchased this exceptional drum several years ago. It was 00 new. (It’s even more expensive now.) The snare was used exclusively in the studio. The drum’s sensitivity, feel and sound characteristics are unsurpassed. It’s a masterpiece.
    This drum is in very good used condition. (Excellent, for the most part.) Absolutely no issues of concern with this fine instrument. The shell is precisely carved and unfinished. It’s naturally beautiful. 45 degree edges are perfect. The only overt signs of use appear on the Remo CS batter head and tiny marks on some of the lugs. Drum is factory original and comprised of Drum Art (DA) proprietary components. (Only the die-cast rims, heads and wires are sourced elsewhere by DA.) Dated factory sticker, with serial #, adhered to the inside of the shell. Stunning, one-of-a-kind drum. See photos.
    Scrutinizer Note: Upon close inspection, you’ll find a few tiny scratches/nicks on some of the lugs and micro-scratches and some smudges on the chrome. Shell is unfinished. As such, it’s naturally textured. Drum is used, but, still looks great. Original padded case and proprietary key/wrench included. Case is used, but still functions as designed. But, there’s no strap for it. (Key stored in the case’s pouch. See photo.)
