This fine snare came with a matching 120th Anniversary Blue/Silver Duco progressive bop kit I owned. (The kit has sold.) It is factory complete and original. Remarkably clean sound and appearance. Chrome shines and blue/silver duco gleams. Lightening snare mechanism and internal muffler function perfectly and wires lay flat. This drum has a cool blend of vintage vibe with contemporary sound - not too boxy, not too ringy…it’s just right.
Scrutinizer Note: Upon close inspection, expect some tiny dings, smudges and micro-scratches on the chrome and lacquer finish. Gretsch Permatone heads are used - tune up and play nicely. Also, note, one snare wire is missing. This drum is a blast to play!
