1978-1979 Vintage Ludwig Vistalite Blue Shell Snare Drum 5"×14".
Very nice condition for the age. No cracks. A few minor scatches and minor nicks, but nothing bad. Chrome hoops are very nice with some scuffing and a few rust specks. One snare side hoop opening has a small dent. Lugs are nice with a few isolated small areas of discoloration, but shine nice. Appears to be original tension rods.  Badge is tight with a few minor scuffs, but nice pointy edges and Blue/Olive color is unfaded. Original snare wires and the P85 strainer and butt are in great shape. Original muffler system intact, typ. for the later 70's and works great.  Very clean drum overall for its age. The bearing edges seem to be in decent shape including snare beds as you would expect on these acrylic shells from Ludwig. This drum came to me with the original heads and it appeared that they had never been removed, so they were in pretty bad used shape. Sorry, original heads are not available. I decided to put a new Remo Controlled Black dot batter head and a new Evans clear snare reso head on for the buyer so this drum is ready to roll!
