This is a MASTERCRAFT 700R X-Y cross slide rotary milling table and vise jaw set. Made in Riverside, California USA Dates from the late 1940's or early 1950's. Heavy, solid cast iron components. No die-cast components in this tool. Table measures 7-1/2" in diameter and is about 6-1/2" in height including the jaws. X-Y travels 4". Original paint is in great condition! All graduations are sharp and easy to read. Compared to similar tables made by Altas / Craftsman, this tool is much stronger with a larger base plate and heavier diameter contact rotary table.
