    Description

    Mostly Slingerland 6X15 one of a kind blue sparkle custom snare drum. Never seen anything else like it. Bought it in late 90's from Resurrection Drums in South Florida for my asking price. Pretty sure they are the ones that made it. Very unique sound. Can be tuned low or high. In low tuneage (what I bought it for), it can make that sound you here on the Al Green records. Anyway, it has Slingerland rims and lugs, with a Ludwig snare strainer. Not sure of the wood, but it is the thick kind with nice edges. New nice sounding head on the top is the Remo attempt at making a head that sounds like the old fashioned calf heads. I am guessing that the blue sparkle wrap was a new manufacture that looks closely like the typical blue sparkle of the era.
