A reference series metal snare that uses an extra-thick metal shell.
The shell is made of steel with a cast method to make it 2.5 mm thick, and the edge part is a reinforcement specification and is an extremely thick shell with a thickness of 5 mm.
The edge adopts a sharp 45 degree bearing edge, and the outstanding response with the edge is also excellent.
Equipped with an epoch-making glide rock strainer, you don't have to worry about loosening or falling off during a performance even in intense play.
It is a model that emphasizes the power and sharpness of the sound produced by the thick steel shell, and the heavy part that can respond to the power and sound pressure of the reference set in a well-balanced manner is featured, but in fact, the graininess is also outstanding and it is accurate even with pianissimo. It's a versatile snare that responds.
The rug is customized to a classic rug like the Kei Yamazaki specification introduced in "D-Flavor" that can be customized at Pearl's domestic workshop, and it is finished in a straighter and more sophisticated sound than the normal model.
