The Strasburg Police Department is offering its patch for sale to raise money in support of our local students.  Proceeds from the sale of the patches will be donated to a scholarship fund for the Lampeter-Strasburg High School.
Listed is the newly unveiled Strasburg Police Department shoulder patch.  This patch features thirteen (13) stars and thirteen (13) stripes for our original thirteen colonies, as well as, a beautiful rendering of Strasburg's own #90 engine.  This patch would be a dream for any collector of Police patches and/or memorabilia, trains or Americana.
Nestled in southern Lancaster County Pennsylvania, the Borough of Strasburg was established in 1733 with The Strasburg Police Department being created in 1872 with one (1) sworn officer.  Today, it's eight (8) sworn officers service a community of approximately 3,000 residents and many times that number of visitors each day.
