This sign promotes the short-lived Captain Morgan Gold malt beverage, not any varieties of the rum for which the brand is known. Captain Morgan Gold was a failed brand extension into the malt beverage market which was discontinued in the early 2000s, not long after it debuted. I cannot imagine many of these signs remain. This one came from a friend's father who owned a liquor store and was looking to clear out obsolete promotional signage.
The sign is a bit over 29 inches tall and about 15 inches wide at its widest spot. It features a gold neon light tube bordering the image, as well as white neon light tubing behind the image to backlight it.
Please note that this sign is NOT currently working. The gold neon tube is broken, with a large chunk missing. This is highlighted in multiple photos. I do not know if the white tubing inside or the power supply are still good, as I do not want to plug it in and turn it on with that large gap in the gold tube. That just seems dangerous. As such, this sign is sold as-is without the option of return.
A great piece for someone who does neon work or collects liquor advertising (or, better yet, both).
A return will only be accepted in the event that I failed to describe the sign properly. I will not allow a return simply because the buyer changes his or her mind
