Made from a whopping 48 plies of North American maple, the Jay Weinberg signature snare drum from SJC is a bellowing monster — explosive, aggressive, and crushingly loud. Yet, it’s not without nuance and sophistication, pulling out details and subtle articulations that are sure to energize your playing. Featuring custom resin artwork from Jay himself and bedecked in eye-catching flat black hardware and custom “wire and nail” badges, the Jay Weinberg signature snare has some serious visual swagger — so much so, it's certain to capture attention onstage! Drummers at Sweetwater were particularly taken by the oversized 2-inch air vents, which have a unique look and allow the snare to reach its full sonic potential. The SJC Jay Weinberg snare is assembled in the USA and ships tuned to rock with Evans heads.
