This all-maple snare from SJC is the add-on you and your kit have been waiting for. The SJC Tour Series 6-inch x 14-inch snare boasts a dry, woody attack and foreboding rimshot that rock drummers of all stripes are sure to love. Its 10 plies of hand-selected North American maple are shaped and edged by hand, then finished in a contemporary satin stain and outfitted with premium brass hardware for tour-grade looks and tone. Heavy-duty 3.0mm hoops on the batter and snare sides dry out overtones and resist warping — a real benefit for road warriors. The Tour Series snare also comes decked out with SJC's iconic shield badges and lugs and Quick-Drop throw off — plus, it arrives tuned up and tested with Evans drumheads.
