The second signature snare drum of Peter Erskine, one of the great jazz legends.
The biggest feature of this snare is the shell packed with Peter's own commitment. A hybrid shell that combines spruce and maple materials with rich midrange and treble, and Peter's unique structure of "equiping a sound focus ring only on the striking surface side" gives a piccolo-like crispness. A clear and rich sound of the sound image has been realized. Also, by adopting the same bearing edge as his STAR Drums of his favorite flagship series, it makes a beautiful sound with all dynamics from whispering small sound to fortissimo in open rim shot.
