  • Condition: I can't see any scratches in the finish, though there might be a few small ones. No rusting or pitting on the lugs or hoops. Some rust on butt plate bolts See photos for details The throw-off moves fine, but the snares stay on. They can be lowered quickly by turning the knob, but the lever-action is faulty and won't release the snares. This hasn't bothered me, since turning the knob takes maybe five seconds, but it might bother some.

    Description

    This snare really has an excellent tone-  I was surprised to see it's an off brand, since it sounds and looks like a higher-end snare.  I think it's birch, and it has an amber fade lacquered finish.  Really a beautiful drum. Note in the condition section about the throw-off.
