    Description

    The Ludwig School Festival is a rare and beautiful vintage drum. It features a 6.5" shell, brass hoops, and thin 3-ply mah0gany-poplar-mah0gany shell with roundover bearing edges for lots of warm resonance! I especially love this drum in low tunings for folk, blues, or rock music. I would keep it but I have too many drums.
    This drum is in very good condition overall except for a few slight bends in the hoops, two repaired holes, and some scratches on the wrap. I have disassembled it, waxed the bearing edges and wrap, polished the hardware, and lubricated the tension rods, muffler, and strainer. It's got a Remo Emperor batter head and Attack medium snare side head with 20-strand Pearl snares.
