    Description

    Vintage Gretsch 4x14” Progressive Jazz 8 Lug Snare Drum 50’s-60’s Era. The drum is in good shape and wrapped in its original Midnight Blue wrap. The wrap has typical darkening and the seam is starting to lift. The shell is 6 ply with the silver sealer on the interior. There is no interior paper tag or drum key holder...leading me to believe that the drum is from the late 50’s. A previous owner installed a newer snare throw which has left 3 extra holes in the shell. The holes will be covered if the new owner decided to reinstall the correct micro sensitive snare throw. The drum has stick chopper rims and a new Remo head has been installed on the batter side. A great drum that you can play as is, or restore. Please check out the photos and ask any questions.
