Vintage Ludwig Acrolite snare drum.
14 x 5. From the late 1970s or early 80s, blue and olive badge, serial numbers 3115863.
All aluminum shell.
Original, nonsmoking owner. In warm, dry storage for the past many years.
Outstanding original condition -- super clean shell exterior finish and interior and bearing edges. No missing or broken parts. No added holes in the shell. No dents in shell. Original throw off and butt plate, original tone control muffler and control dial. All chrome hardware is excellent and very clean. Remo coated batter and clear resonate heads. Upgraded snare wires.
These Acrolites are noted for their dry, crisp tone -- and are appreciating annually in value, especially in this outstanding original condition.
