Vintage Ludwig Standard snare drum.
14 x 5. Date stamped inside shell -- April 13, 1971. Serial numbers 45401
All aluminum shell.
Original, nonsmoking owner. In warm, dry storage for the past many years.
Outstanding original mint condition -- super clean shell exterior finish and interior and bearing edges. No missing or broken parts. No rust. No added holes in the shell. No dents in shell. Original throw off and butt plate, original tone control muffler and control dial. All chrome hardware is excellent and very clean. Remo coated batter head and clear resonate head.
These aluminum shell Standard drums are noted for their dry, crisp tone -- and are appreciating annually in value, especially in this mint original condition.
