Vintage Rogers Luxor snare drum.
Cleveland, Ohio production, serial numbers 8543. From the 1960s. Original paper tag inside shell.
14 x 5.
Finished in beautiful and original blue/silver fade duco. Excellent shell finish. No added holes in shell. Shell interior and bearing edges are excellent. Chrome hardware in excellent condition. Original throw off and butt plate, lugs and hoops. This is a muffler-delete drum -- was not made with an internal muffler.
Both heads are in very good condition.
The drum delivers warm, crisp and woody tone with excellent attack and wide tuning range. Exactly what you expect from a high-quality American-made drum from this era.
