The MS-6300 Power-Lite Marching Snare Drum from Yamaha is built with high-end specifications for improved sound and durability in performance. Constructed with a birch plywood shell, this snare is light, but it offers a strong, full tone with sharp attack. Sweetwater percussionists appreciate the three air holes that vent the shell and aid in the MS-6300's powerful projection and immediate response. The steel, triple-flanged rim offers superior intonation and low tone enhancement for a full-bodied effect. Along with zinc-alloy lugs with reinforced walls to handle high-tension tuning, the Power-Lite provides a strainer with an easily reachable tension adjustment and a noise-reducing rubber sleeve on the lever. You'll also love the bright attack and quick response of the 20 straight cable snares, as well as its low-friction tuning thanks to steel and nylon washers. Yamaha's exclusive three removable feet design adds further durability, preventing accidental damage to the bottom of your snare when putting it on the ground during a performance/rehearsal.
